General Information
Lightweight, fast, hyper-performing, with the most spacious, welcoming spaces and a new propulsion system, the Pershing 8X is the dream and masterpiece of the “X Generation”. Sporty and aerodynamic, key exterior aesthetic details include “imposing side wings” and a sundeck stairway described as “black painted steel steps covered in teak and framed by carbon fiber”.
Another stand-out feature is the yacht’s music hull, developed by the Ferretti Group engineering department in collaboration with tech company Videoworks. A high definition loudspeaker is embedded within the hull to provide music for underwater dive and swimming sessions and can be controlled by smartphones and tablets.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four double cabins on the lower deck. These include a full-beam master with walk-in closet and bathroom, a foredeck VIP cabin with dedicated port-side bathroom, and two double guest cabins with a shared starboard-side bathroom. The crew quarters allow for a staff of three in one single and one double cabin.
Nicky D’s highlights include a Frau interior, bow and stern thrusters, teak decks, electric lifting television (salon), extensive seating on the large flybridge, aft garage with hydraulic hatch, hydraulic swim platform & swim ladder, telescoping gangway, water maker, Tropical A/C, and engine room cameras.
