General Information
Building on the success of the WALLYWHY200, the WALLYWHY150 offers the best features of the larger model and places a heavy focus on alfresco living. Great emphasis has been given to all the exterior areas, where the masterful use of the outdoor space allows to offer in the sundeck a complete dining option and a bar/kitchen with grill, fridges and all the open-air living amenities at sea.
Masterminded by Luca Bassani and the Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering department, with Studio A. Vallicelli & C creating the interior concept, the 24-meter yacht features an upper deck that is completely open, creating a huge amount of protected space equivalent to that found on a 40-meter yacht.
Similar to the WALLYWHY200, the WALLYWHY150 features a forward Master cabin with wraparound windows and a 270-degree view. The high bow of the yacht, together with the glass window, creates an impressive “wow factor” effect in the cabin, which is complemented by a generous en suite and ample storage solutions. Four additional spacious staterooms accommodate up to eight guests, with for crew members housed in two large cabins.
Volume is another key cornerstone of the design, offering unparalleled levels of headroom. Sporting a curved ceiling, the living area has the highest headroom in her class, reaching heights up to 2.5 metres (8’2’’). On the main deck, the full-beam interior saloon is on the same level as the cockpit down to sea level, creating a close sense of connection with the water. Luca Bassani, Wally’s founder and chief designer explains: “This is the first vessel with direct access to the sea at cockpit level with no stairs necessary.
Tender storage is located in a huge aft deck platform which includes a multipurpose hydraulic ladder, passerelle and a hydraulic platform. Owners may customize this area which has the capacity for all types of water toys, as well as a 13’ tender.
Two propulsion packages are offered: the standard 3X IPS 1200 engines with a maximum speed of 21 knots or the optional 3X IPS 1350 engines with a max of 23 knots.
